Aerial yoga incorporates a traditional yoga flow while allowing yourself to go deeper in postures, encouraging proper alignment with the support of a light, soft silk hammock that supports 1500lbs. The fabric supports the body allowing decompression, proper alignment, building strength, self-trust and self-confidence. Newcomers enjoy working with the sling feeling little pressure or stress on the joints, particularly the spine. Inversions are easily accessed in supported gravity with no strain on the neck, back or shoulders. Core muscles fire without even realizing it’s a great workout. Aerial yoga is an all levels authentic energizing and healing experience.
Aerial Rest and Restore
Laying in the aerial silk like a hammock slightly above the floor you melt into the body feeling weightless. Allowing yourself to float through a gentle slow flow of yoga movements deepening the connection of the breath as you find deeper spinal flexibility. Completing the class resting in gentle massage and Yoga Nidra; a yogic sleep more rejuvenating than any nap!

While concentrating on the breath your body is nurtured in postures with props including bolsters, blankets, blocks, straps and eye pillows allowing your body, mind, and spirit to reach a calm restful state.
